With LEAP testing around the corner, they’ve been giving their all, sharpening their skills, and building confidence through hours of learning and practice. Thanks to the dedication of our staff and volunteers, they are more prepared than ever!
We ask for your prayers for focus, peace, and encouragement as they take on this important challenge. Let’s lift them up and cheer them on!

Welcome to our Newest Board Members!
Kendrick Martin is a mortgage loan officer at Mortgage Solutions Financial with nearly two decades of experience helping families achieve homeownership. A proud Jeanerette, Louisiana native and Jeanerette High School Class of 1996 graduate, he is deeply involved in his community, advocating for local businesses and education initiatives. Kendrick is an active leader in the Southwest Louisiana Black Chamber of Commerce, working to empower Black entrepreneurs. He lives by the motto, “Let the work I do speak for me.” Kendrick is happily married to Shan Martin, and they enjoy traveling the world together. He is a proud father of Robyn Thibeaux, Jairi Thibeaux, and London Martin.
Silton Jenkins is a dedicated minister of the gospel with a heart for serving God and his community. Married to his beloved wife, Likia Jenkins, for 15 years, he is a devoted husband and father to their three wonderful children: Christopher, Nevaeh, and Chloe. Alongside his ministry, Silton has courageously served as a firefighter for 15 years, demonstrating his commitment to protecting and helping others. His passion for God and love for people are at the core of everything he does, making a lasting impact both in his faith and his service.
